The International Alliance of Kiger Mustang Breeders was founded in 2014. One of the main focuses of the International Alliance of Kiger Mustang Breeders is to promote high standards and ethical breeding practices in order to preserve the integrity of the Kiger Mustang. We require all breeders to adhere to our Code of Ethics and submit an application for review to become an Approved Breeder. In addition to promoting ethical breeding and purchasing practices, we are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Kiger Mustang Breed itself, and the promotion of both owner and breeder responsibility, acting as ambassadors of the breed to ensure the protection and quality of Kiger Mustangs.
Part of being a breed ambassador is the gathering and sharing of knowledge and we’ve gathered a large resource page of educational and promotional material that we feel is going to be beneficial for the prospective, current, or past owner of the Kiger Mustang as well as other Kiger Mustang enthusiasts. Here you will also find detailed information about the Kiger Mustang as well as guidance to their purchase, care, and overall health.
Those approved for breeder listing will appear on our Approved Breeder page.
To become an Approved Breeder, you must be a KHAR member and your breeding stock must be registered with KHAR and DNA tested. A Breeders Listing Application and signed Code of Ethics form needs to be completed and sent to KHAR. This is reviewed by our appointed committee. Please allow 30 days for this review. The Breeders Listing Application can be found on our membership page or you can click on the link below.
